Do you like the Stampin’ Up! Bright & Beautiful Stars Stamp Set? If so, you’ll enjoy today’s post with four Christmas card designs using this beautiful stamp set. Wanted to show off these remaining Bright & Beautiful Stars cards from the Founder’s Circle swap while the Star Framelits were still on sale during the Online Extravaganza.
The first Bright & Beautiful Stars card is gold embossed on white cardstock for the smaller star and white embossed on gold for the larger star. In the center is an All is Calm Snowflake Embellishement from the 2014 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog, as is also the Bright & Beautiful Stars Stamp Set.
The creator of this card used Back to Black Designer Series Paper. Would have never thought to use it, especially the flower pattern, but it works and works quite nicely.
The second card is similar in she also embossed silver on white and then white on silver cardstock with an All is Calm Snowflake Embellishment in the center. Even the stars are turned the same way.
Where the design goes in a different direction is embossed stars on three quarters of the layer (made with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder) so she could emboss the Season’s Greetings in silver under the stars.
This Bright and Beautiful Stars card also has two embossed stars, but this time the cardstock color is the same for both. The smallest and largest are embossed with gold and the medium one with white. Part of the background embossed with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder with the bottom edge punched with the Confetti Stars Punch.
The last card broke the mold with no embossing on the stars. She stamped the smallest and middle one in Hello Honey. The largest one is made of Gold Glimmer Paper. Like the last two, we do have the Lucky Stars embossed background.
The Bright & Beautiful Stars Stamp Set is from the 2014 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. The Holiday Catalog is good only through January 5, 2015. Will it make it to the carryover list? Simply don’t know. Stampin’ Up! has provided any information about that yet.
