My elegant Lovely as a Tree card was the result of an idea that didn’t work out. I chose Smoky Slate trying to get as close to the look of the original idea as I could. Otherwise, pretty sure gray would not have been considered. So glad I did. Quite pleased with the end result.
My girlfriend said it’s how the trees look first thing of a winter morning. As soon as she said that, I could envision it. That must be why I was taken with this card too. Simple. Elegant.
All along I did want a tiny splash of red. The little bird is from the Stampin’ Up! White Christmas Stamp Set was the perfect touch I was looking for.
It’s hard to capture it in a picture, but the Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter adds a special wow touch. It always does. It truly is what how snow sparkles in the sunshine. Beautiful.
