The tulips of the Stampin’ Up! Love is Kindness Stamp are charmingly wrapped in newspaper. The Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs have tulips on the wrapper. So, if tulips wrapped in newspaper looked good, could this also work to wrap the candy too? Easy enough to try with the Stampin’ Up! Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper. The newspaper printed paper was kept narrow enough to make sure the tulips could still be seen on the wrapper.
The tulips stamp are tied up with a string. Much like the Tangerine Tango Baker’s Twine I used. Looking cute. Now to pull it all together by using the two together.
The tag was made with the new Ornate Tag Topper Punch. Looks like the Love is Kindness Stamp was made for it. The tulips were colored to coordinate with Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pads and an Aqua Painter. The saying that is part of the Love is Kindness Stamp was left off so the “Happy Easter” greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set could be added.
A small strip of newspaper print paper from the Typeset Designer Paper was added to the bottom of the tag to pull the news print theme all together. Tangerine Tango Baker’s Twine to tie the gift tag to the Gusseted Cellophane Bag for a cute Easter goodie bag.
The Love is Kindness Stamp is a single stamp from the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. You can use it to make a beautiful full size spring card (see one here) or an Easter gift tag.
