Patriotic Mini Treat Bag just in time for 4th of July

The Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies are on sale at 25% off and just in time for 4th of July treat bags!

The star die used to die-cut out of the front of the bag and enjoy die are included with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies, along with several others.

The Lucky Stars Embossing Folder also included at 25% in the week’s Weekly Deals is what inspired me to create a patriotic treat bag.

Expecting to find hard candy to fill my 4th of July treat bag, I secured a Window Sheet with Mini Glue Dots over the die-cut hole. Instead I found a fudge dipped granola bar in a red wrapper. Didn’t need the Window Sheet, but it does give the bag a finished look.

The left over die-cut star was used to make a bag tag. Since there’s a yummy treat inside, enjoy was a good choice. By the way, the enjoy die is part of the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. The tag was then attached to the 1/4″ Whisper White Cotton Ribbon tied around the bag.

To give the bag a finishing touch, I added a small piece of white tissue paper after stamping the top edge with the star from the Something to Say Stamp Set with Pacific Point Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. It’s the same shape of star and coordinates well.

Excited to show this to a stamping friend at church who likes to have a special treat for our veterans on 4th of July and Veteran’s Day. The dies make this an easy project.
