Celebrate her with a Stampin' Up! Birthday Blossoms Card

Celebrate her with a feminine birthday card made with the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set.

The clusters of sweet blooms are a pretty accent to the larger flowers. You love to learn you will not need to hand cut those flowers either. They coordinate with the Pansy Punch that also punches out all the flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Flower Shop Stamp Set. When punches and/or dies work with more than one stamp set, it’s a great way to stretch the investment in our tools.

The flower clusters and large flowers were all stamped with Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. Blackberry Bliss was also used with an Aqua Painter to watercolor the flowers. Blackberry Bliss is dark enough to give the lines definition, while at the same time, giving the flowers a softer look than if first stamped in black.

The small cluster of flowers were shaded with Mint Macaron Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. Again, using an Aqua Painter. Smoky Slate was briefly considered. It would have looked very nice with the Blackberry Bliss, but don’t you like how it looks with the Mint Macaron?

A strip of Mint Macaron 1″ Lace Dotted Lace Trim was the finishing touch for this handmade birthday card.
