Stampin' Up! Among the Branches Gift BoxUntil Founder’s Circle I had only made square boxes with the Gift Box Punch Board. Boy, was I excited to see flat boxes were possible and just as easy to make!

All it needed was a little decorating to turn it into a fun Halloween gift box.

First a 2-3/8″ x 12″ band of Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper was wrapped around it. The edges were formed, or molded, to the box, not scored. So far the Fast Fuse Adhesive is holding the paper together quite well.

Next came the Spider Web Doily. But not a full one. Did you see the video where I cut out the center? It was definitely worth saving the outside. If you weren’t told, you’d never guess. Two projects from one Spider Web Doily! The Spider Web Doily was adhered with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. Love that glue pen!

Now to fill the big center. A big circle was die-cut with the Circles Collection Framelits Dies in my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine. The “spooky” was stamped with Tangelo Twist Classic Stampin’ Pad ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. Very Vanilla because that’s the neutral color in the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper. It punches out perfectly with the 2″ Circle Punch.

The Tangelo Twist “spooky” was lost in the center of the large black circle. The the next size smaller Circle Collection  Framelits Die was used in the Big Shot to die-cut a Very Vanilla Cardstock circle. An alternating strip of Happy Haunting Designer Series Washi Tape was added. Turned out looking pretty great, didn’t it?! The Paper Snips made it easy to cut off the overlapped washi tape.

Voila! A quick and cute Halloween box! It all started with the Gift Box Punch Board. It and the other supplies are available to order now in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com!
