Make elegant Christmas gift tags!

Use the Stampin’ Up! Embellished Ornaments Bundle from the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog to make elegant Christmas gift tags!

The Silver Foil Sheets die cut so cleanly and come easily out of the dies with Precision Base Plate (25% off through Monday, December 14!). Enjoy!

Directions:

1. Rub your Embossing Buddy over 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ Whisper White Cardstock. Use VersaMark Pad ink to stamp the long ornament stamp from the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set on the Whisper White Cardstock. Sprinkle Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder over the entire image. Melt the embossing powder with the Heat
Tool.

2. Use the Precision Base Plate with your Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine to die-cut a Silver Foil Sheet with the long, intricate Thinlits ornament die from the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies. Then two ornament tops and the poinsettia Thinlits dies also out of a Silver Foil Sheet. Remove all the little die-cut pieces.

3. Use your Magnetic Platform in your Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine to die-cut the silver embossed ornament with the long ornament Framelits (outline) die.
Die-cut a second long ornament and another poinsettia out of a Red Foil Sheet. .My desire was in using the Magnetic Platform with the poinsettia Thinlits die was so the small die-cut pieces would remain giving me a full, red poinsettia. It worked. Use the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Silver Foil outline poinsettia die-cut with the Precision Base Plate to the full, red die-cut poinsettia. The added color and dimension is striking.

4. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the ornament tops to the top of each die-cut ornament.

5. Use the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to punch two bottom corners of 3″ x 4-3/4″ Whisper White Cardstock. Use the ribbon slot part of the punch to punch the opposite end of the Whisper White Cardstock. Snip one corner at an angle with your Paper Snips. Hold the snipped off piece on the opposite corner as your template to trim the other side to create a tag.

6. Rub the Embossing Buddy over the Whisper White Cardstock. Use VersaMark Pad ink to stamp the “Thinking of You at Christmas” stamp from the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set at the bottom of the tag. Sprinkle Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder over the entire greeting. Melt with the Heat
Tool.

7. Using VersaMark Pad ink, stamp so that about half of the holly and berries border stamp from the Embellishment Ornaments Stamp Set is stamped along the left side of the tag. Sprinkle on Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Melt with the Heat Tool.

8. Use Fast Fuse Adhesive to adhere the two ornaments to the tag keeping the loops of the ornaments together. Double Silver Cording Trim and feed through the ornaments loops and through the ribbon slot. Pull the ends through the loop tying off into a bow.
