Do you love snowmen and snow globes too? You can put virtually anything in a snow globe. This time it’s a snowman in a snow globe Christmas card with the Stampin’ Up! Sparkly Seasons Stamp Set.
What do you think of the non-traditional colors for a Christmas card? The colors of hat and scarf looks like something that would have come out of your closest, making the handmade Christmas card look warm and homey.
Mint Macaron coordinates beautifully with Garden Green for his hat and scarf. If you use your imagination, the white polka dots look a little like snow.
The idea for the white snow globe base came from my large snow globe and it’s white painted wood base. I did first emboss White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Whisper White Cardstock. It was underwhelming. The first color to come to mind to try was Smoky Slate. But my snowman was already shaded with Crumb Cake. And I’m so glad it was. The white embossed Crumb Cake looks so good!
The snowman, snow globe base and greeting are all included in the Sparkly Seasons Stamp Set from the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. It’s being retired along with the coordinating Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies.
Normally I would recommend that you purchase the bundle and save 15%. But, not this time. The Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies are discounted 40% with the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Year-End Sale! The thing is the dies are available only while supplies last! The Sparkly Seasons Stamp Set is guaranteed through December 28 (coming very quickly). Go ahead and order both (but not the bundle) now in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com.
