It’s so much mixing and matching the different designs when you get a new package of Stampin’ Up! Designer Paper. Today I have three simple Perfect Pairings greeting cards using six of the pretty patterns from the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper.
The airy flower buds and striped papers paired up so well together. The mostly solid striped paper gave a very nice contrast to the mostly white flower buds. And both are set off so prettily against the Blackberry Bliss Cardstock card base. You’ll find the measurements below the supplies.
For each of the three handmade greeting cards I used the Thank You stamp paired with the Kindly stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Perfect Pairings Stamp Set. On the first card the Thank You was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad ink and the Kindly with Old Olive.
The Whisper White Cardstock was die-cut in my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine using the Tags & Labels Framelits Dies. I did do my die-cutting first to be sure I stamped the greetings closely enough together.
Without reading the colors used for the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper conveniently printed on the back of the package, I grabbed Delightful Dijon Cardstock to use for the card base of the two patterns above. The color of the bottom design is actually Hello Honey and not Delightful Dijon. Even though I liked the contrast of the two mustard colors, I did try Hello Honey for the card base and went right back to Delightful Dijon. Stampin’ Up! color products coordinate with each other but their colors also coordinate well with each other. That’s all by design.
The third Perfect Pairing greeting card used a design that some of our eyes going a bit buggy when looking at a full sheet but looks attractive with the 1/2″ strip of it used to contrast with the Calypso Coral paper. The Basic Black Cardstock card base provided some elegance.
