My clean and simple rose is card is most definitely easy to make that delivers elegance in its simplicity.
Upon reflection, if I had used a die-cut cardstock rose and die-cut cardstock leaves, sponges would have gotten between the petals. Yet I’m quite pleased with my method of using the Thinlits Die as my stencil with stipple brushes because the soft color the stipple brushes provided was exactly the look I desired. The perfect soft touch without uneven color that can happen by unintentionally applying more pressure in some areas.
As you saw watching the video, using the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies from the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog were easy to hold and strong enough not to get bent with all the pouncing.
