The marbled and watercolored prints of the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper are quite attractive and easy to use with use with other patterned papers for quick and easy cards!
With Valentine’s Day just a few days away, I thought it would be fun to see how I could pair the marbled pattern of the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper with some patterns from the Stampin’ Up! Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper. Look how pretty the two are together as the flowers both contrast and coordinate the marbled pattern.
The “hello” stamp from the Sale-a-bration Hello Stamp Set was stamped with Rose Red Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. First I tried Blushing Bride thinking the flowers would look pretty with Blushing Bride above and below. It looked fine but Rose Red won out.
Like potato chips, once you start choosing a pattern to use with the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper, you can’t stop at just one.
Here’s one in which the Blushing Bride for the “hello” looked better. Again using one of the designs from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack.
And one more.
My quick and easy cards felt like they needed just a little something to dress them up. My eye caught a bottle Gold Dazzling Details. It’s like a glitter glue with very fine glitter for easy and delicate accents.
A quick shake of the bottle and then dotted the Whisper White Thick Cardstock and strip of Love Blossoms Paper. That did it. Still quick and easy with just a touch of glamour.
Isn’t it interesting that even though I used Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper, we ended up with all-occasions cards? Adding the “hello” from the Sale-a-bration Hello Stamp Set, even with the heart patterned paper, turned them into pretty all-occasion cards.
