One of the most asked questions I get is “How do you re-ink a stamp pad?”

How do you reink a stamp pad?My method is the same since Stampin’ Up! introduced the firm foam ink pads about three years ago but now with one added step.

 

My method is to squeeze ink refill of the same color in a zig zag pattern in both directions.

With the previous felt covered style pads, I was done and ready to stamp right away. That’s not true with the firm foam pads, unless a pattern is desired.

I’ll admit that looks pretty cool, but if you wanted to repeat it the next day, you’re going to have to add more ink and have one very, very juicy ink pad.
 
The ink needs to worked in a bit. I tend to grab what’s closest and will work. Cardstock always seem to be in reach.
