Now that scoring blades for the Stampin’ Trimmer are on the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Retiring Stamp Sets and Accessories List, you are probably asking yourself “Should I order replacement scoring blades?”
Scoring blades for the Stampin’ Trimmer don’t wear out. So you can imagine orders for replacement scoring blades would have been small which lead to them being retired with the 2015-2016 Stampin’ Up Catalog. Should you order a set before they retire? I sure did.
If you’re scratching your head as to why when they don’t wear out, let me explain. A friend and I stamp together almost every Saturday. My Stampin’ Trimmer is always at my side. I have my retired Fiskars cutter at hers. She always wants to use my Stampin’ Trimmer. It is a far superior paper trimmer and am happy to share.
One evening we passed it back and forth. Somehow it ended up on the floor on her side when we were done. Without realizing it, my cutting blade had fallen out. That’s the first and only time since I’ve owned it that any blade fell out. That’s all it took for it to end up getting chewed up in my Scoring Blade Eater, or what others call an upright vacuum cleaner.
What are the chances my scoring blade will fall out and meet an untimely death by a hungry scoring blade eater? Small, very small. But now that replacements will soon no longer be available, I’m not willing to take the chance for only $5 for two replacement blades. Are you?
If you own a Stampin’ Trimmer (if not, you want to!), I obviously highly recommend ordering replacement Stampin’ Trimmer Scoring Blades in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com now!
Remember, retiring accessories are available ONLY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Get on over now to my online store to place your order before they sell out! Or risk nightmares of scoring blade eaters. Eww, cold chills!

Mine does not score anymore and I’m unable to get new ones any suggestions?
Hi! So sorry, I don’t. My husband may have had a hack, but I don’t know of one.
