Tips for Stampin' Up! ink padsRemember the tip I shared last week to use one of the extra three labels for inside your Classic Stampin’ Pads? This allows you to easier identify the color when the pad is open. I asked for ideas for the other two remaining labels and have a tip you’ll love for the Classic Stampin’ Pad labels!

Diane S (OK) and Linda B both wrote they add one of the labels to the opposite end of the ink pad. That will come in handy when your ink pads are returned backwards into their slots in the Color Caddy.

Elaine S (NC) wrote: “I take one and punch with a 1/4-inch hole punch and then put that little circle on the lid of my reinkers.  That way I can easily find the one I’m looking for.  That way I don’t need to pick up each bottle until I find the right one.”
Jody wrote: “I use another label on the opposite edge of the pad and part of the last label on the reinker.”

Loved the idea of being able to see the ink refill colors without needing to pull each one out of the top of my Color Caddy. Instead of punching a dot, I did as Jody wrote and wrapped the label around the lid. Eleven months later, they are still holding strong.
