I do love Stampin’ Up! punches! Somehow Stampin’ up! must have heard how much I do because in July I was asked if they could feature me in the August 2 edition of Succeed Weekly, a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator only publication.
Perhaps they saw my 2009 blog post in which I declared I love Stampin’ Up! punches. 🙂
What an honor! I was asked to answer a couple of questions about punches and provide a photo. Off to the backyard we went to snap a quick picture that was included with the article.
Here is one of the questions I was asked and my answer.
Q. What are some benefits of promoting punches in your business and some tips for selling them?
A. Punches are awesome because they make it so easy to step up handmade cards with layers and dimension. It always makes the stamp set more desirable when I can offer my customers an easy way to cut out the stamped images; it saves us a lot of time and provides professional-looking results!
I think every demonstrator should absolutely use Stampin’ Up! punches in their workshops and classes because everyone loves punches from beginner to experienced stampers. If possible, use a punch with a coordinating stamp set. It’s exciting to show your customers how to stamp and then punch the image. Then put Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the punched image and really wow them.
Be sure to tell them Stampin’ Up!’s punch designs are exclusive. You’ll also want to point out anytime they’re available in a bundle. Punches are fantastic tools you can offer your customers of any budget!
Pictured below you’ll see pictured all the punches that are currently available to order, bundles that save you 10% on both the punch and coordinating stamp set and three bundles from the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog that will be available to purchase starting September 1, 2016 in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com.
Looking for a retired Stampin’ Up! punch? You might find it here on the list of retired punches I have for sale. There is only one of each available.
