Applying Multipurpose Liquid GlueWhen you use liquid glue, do you apply too much adhesive?

Does it seem like you haven’t mastered how to squeeze out just the right amount of glue ending up with a mess? If so, you’re really going to like this tip from Margaret Garner.

She says to squeeze Multipurpose Liquid Glue onto a Silicone Craft Sheet.

Dampen a small paint brush, pick up some adhesive and paint it on your paper.

You can use the glued pieces right away or allow them to get tacky. When the glue is tacky you can rearrange the pieces without getting glue on your paper craft project. Press when in place for a good hold.

Be sure to clean your paint brush as soon as you’re done. The Multipurpose Glue will peel off your Silicone Craft Sheet once it is dry.

After making an exclusive video for my Stamping Playground membership site in which I reminded my Playground Friends to rinse their paint brushes with glue on the right away, I forgot to rinse mine. Rut-ro. It was good and hard by the next day.
Rinsing it helped some. I then soaked the bristles in lighter fluid for five minutes or so. That worked like a charm. The paint brush bristles are nice and soft again. If you forget and have to go that route, you’ll need to wash the bristles with a cleaner. They felt oily after soaking in lighter fluid.

Often it is a simple idea that makes the art of rubber stamping easier and more enjoyable.
