Throwback Thursday - Holly Berry Christmas Cards

Awhile back I recorded a video to demonstrate how to make my simply pretty Holly Berry Happiness card. You can see it here. In the video, I showed not just one Stampin’ Up! Holly Berry Happiness Christmas card but five more!

The first design was with Emerald Envy for the card base and holly embossed cardstock. I liked it but didn’t love it. Absolutely love green and holly. So, I sat it aside and would look over at it several times while trying to figure out why I didn’t love it.

The following morning I decided to see what I thought the card base and holly embossed cardstock in Whisper White instead. Ding, ding, ding – we had a winner!

Loved it so much, I then made four more handmade Christmas cards using the same design and the remaining four Presents & Pinecones Designer Washi Tape and four more patterns from the coordinating Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper. To my delight for those who make many, many Christmas cards, calculated that you can use one package of the Presents & Pinecones paper and washi tape to make 160 Christmas cards!

Then I added a couple of pine boughs.

And then got crazy and used the bow instead of holly.
