Winter card with Stampin’ Up! Mountain Adventure

Build a snowy scene for a winter card with the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Adventure Stamp Set.

With family and friends with birthdays in December, it’s sure nice to have a winter stamp set that isn’t a Christmas theme.  The Mountain Adventure Stamp Set will also take you into January and even February with a heart-shaped snowflake and “I love you snow much!” greeting.

This hand-stamped winter card was quick and easy to make. It took very little time to watercolor the mountain and sky. Adding the pine trees and greeting was done it a flash.

How about the background of snow on the Night of Navy Cardstock? It was made using one of the four stencils in the Seasonal Decorative Masks. They were on my first order from the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Catalog, yet today was the first time I played with them when I made an exclusive hand stamped card for the Stamping Playground I’ll be posting there tomorrow.  It turned out so well I want to use them again. And am now wishing I had picked them up much sooner. Did you know there’s a paisley pattern for all of us that ordered the Paisleys & Posies Stamp set and dies?
