Last week I recorded a very clean and simple card Stampin' Up! Perfect Mix Stamp Setvideo with the Stampin’ Up! Perfect Mix Stamp Set and new Watercolor Pencils. The Watercolor Pencils are an easy way to get a watercolor look without bleeding through to the inside of the card when you smooth and blend the pencil lines with a Blender Pen.

Liked my clean and simple Perfect Mix card so well that I wanted to use the same template with the other stamps in the set. You can see my card with the dozen eggs stamp here.

I first colored the measuring spoons from the Perfect Mix Stamp Set all one color – Real Red. It’s an okay card, but I wanted a lot more color.

So each got its own color. From largest measuring spoon to smallest, the colors are Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry.  Look how colorful the measuring spoons are now!

Loving the colorful measuring spoons, I was rather wishing the sets in my baking drawer were multi-color instead of all one color because it should make it quicker and easier to find the right spoon.

On a quick trip to Dollar General to look for something to use for an upcoming 3D project for Stamping Playground, look at what I found! Wish granted. 🙂

The new Watercolor Pencils have been incredibly popular. One reason is they are all Stampin’ Up! colors. How wonderful to be able to coordinate with Stampin’ Up! cardstock and other accessories. So popular, we’ve almost run out! They will be temporarily unavailable to order after Noon MT this Thursday, January 26. When they will be back in stock and available to order after noon on Thursday is not yet known.

If the Watercolor Pencils are on your 2017 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog wish list, you will want to order them right away in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com. They are on backorder with an estimated date to start shipping on February 13.

Add a package of Blender Pens to your order if you need them. The two are “the perfect mix.”
