Have you seen the new 2017 Sale-a-bration Make a 
Medallion Stamp Set? I used it to make a quick Stampin’ Up! Make a Medallion Note Card.
The first two decisions were made for my simple handmade card design – the stamp set (Make a Medallion), size (5″ x 3-1/2″) and color of card base (Crumb Cake).

The next decision to make was the colors. I wanted to highlight the 2015-2017 In Colors to give my followers the heads up to order ink refills and stock up on cardstock because they will soon on the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Retiring Accessories List. When that happens (mid to late April), they will become only while supplies last.
So, I looked through my 2015-2017 In Color Combinations e-book with ten 3-color combinations for each of the five In Colors (50 combos total!). I looked for one that used Crumb Cake for one of the three colors and chose Cucumber Crush / Chocolate Chip / Crumb Cake.
Stampin’ Up! did something pretty cool. The Make a Medallion Stamp Set was designed to coordinate with the Layering Circles Framelits. You can see three of the circle dies used on my simple hand stamped card. Had I chosen to also die-cut the largest circle, it would have coordinated with one of the scallop circle dies. As I just wrote, pretty cool.
