My idea for a clean and simple card using the Stampin’ Up! Strength & Prayers Stamp Set was almost as it had been envisioned, except I wished the words were easier to read. You’ll see how I made that happen when you watch my video tutorial to learn how to make the deep blue ink even darker!
Brown and blue are always a very attractive color combination. After watching my video tutorial, you saw how to make the Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Pad ink even darker so it stands out well from the Crumb Cake stamped dove for easy reading.
My clean and simple Strength & Prayers card would make a great encouragement card. What do you think about using it for a sympathy card?

Hi Shelly! I just watched your video on the Strength & Prayers stamp set, very nice design and liked that you did a quick embossing. I noticed that you had the label on the stamp itself on to a clear block. I haven’t tried it like that, it looks like it holds to the block okay and doesn’t come away from the block. Is there anything other that you do to it, or just place the label on the stamp and then press the clear block on to that? Like that the label is on it so you can see what the stamp does look like and how you are then stamping it on the cardstock. Thank you, Kathleen
Hi!
Thank you!
Having the labels on the stamp are a must for me. I made a short video with several tips on how to get your clear-mount stamps (with their labels) to cling to their acrylic blocks. You can view it at this link https://stampingsmiles.com/2017/01/how-to-get-your-clear-mount-stamps-to-cling-to-acrylic-blocks.html
I’m sure that will be helpful.
