“What adhesive did you use on your handstamped card?”

One of my sweet stampers recently asked me “What adhesive did you use on the hand stamped card you sent me? The edges don’t lift, it’s stuck very well.”

My answer was and is Fast Fuse Adhesive. I’ve been using it now for three years and am continue to be impressed with the hold.

There is just one little thing you have to remember to do, and you will be as impressed as I am. After you apply a line of adhesive, you need to do something to break it. If you don’t, you’ll have what I say looks like hot, stringy cheese. Stampin’ Up! recommends sliding it to the left or right. The only thing with that method, you need to alternate to keep the roll in the center of the roller.

I decided to try an experiement that my Playground Friends watched for the past few months. Instead of the slide (because I’d forget which direction it had been slid last), I tried to gently press down to stop the line. That has worked very well. If you forget, you’ll remember immediately when you get some hot stringy cheese. 🙂 The good news is, your project isn’t ruined, just break it with your finger.
