Easy Owl-on-a-Branch Stampin' Up! Spooky Cat Card

Would you love to make Halloween cards but are a bit short on time? Make my easy owl-on-a-branch Stampin’ Up! Spooky Cat card.

My hand stamped Halloween card idea is quick to make because of the Stampin’ Up! Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. One of the 12″ x 12″ patterned sheets if full of 3″ x 3″ squares with the tree and moon. It’s designed to stamp the owl from the coordinating Spooky Cat Stamp Set on the tree branch.

My girlfriend asked if the tree had to be masked. Not at all. The tree is in black silhouette. It’s so dark that ink stamped over top doesn’t show. There are some pretty clever designers employed by Stampin’ Up!

The 3″ x 3″ piece was layered onto Basic Black Cardstock and added the Pumpkin Pie Cardstock card base decorated with another of the patterns from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine for a fast & fabulous Halloween card.
