Charming Stampin’ Up! This Little Piggy Card Idea

With a name like Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, you immediately think of a night sky filled with stars. That’s true but you can do much more as you see with my charming Stampin’ Up! This Little Piggy card.

The little piggy sitting in the grass was stamped on Whisper White Thick Cardstock and punched with the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch. That was on purpose. If I wanted the stamp to fully fit in a circle, I would have used a larger circle die from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. 

The little piggy was then stamped again on Whisper White Thick Cardstock and hand-trimmed with Paper Snips. It was then colored and shaded with the newly released Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends, two of the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper colors for an eye-pleasing color coordination.

He is so cute with his ears outside the circle! The additional step of hand-trimming the second piggy made a simple hand-stamped card a little extra special.
