Gold Embossed Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Day Card

It’s an excellent day for a gold embossed butterfly card made with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Day Stamp Set.

My Beautiful Day card is a fun use of background paper. The butterfly was embossed in gold on one of the patterns from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper. Another pattern was used for a color-coordinated layer. Looking at all the adorable animals in some of the patterns, you might not have expected to see an elegant card. It’s remarkable how versatile many of the Designer Series Papers are.

A strip of the same pattern of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper from the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! Catalog was added to the bottom. It was layered with a larger Gold Foil Sheets strip to compliment the gold embossed butterfly.
