As soon as I spotted the striking flower die from the limited-edition Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies, a pretty, yet simple, card idea started to form. The initial plan was the flower and stems & leaves in different colors on Whisper White Cardstock that eventually turned into my simply pretty Stampin’ Up! Blended Seasons card.
Surely that would have looked good, but when the Petal Pink / Soft Sea Foam flower was set against Shaded Spruce Cardstock, ding, ding, ding, we had a winner!
The “Wishing You all the best” stamp from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set (also available in August only) would be good for a wedding card but upon reflection, we can use it for several occasions including birthday, anniversary, graduation and thank you.
You know that little thrill you get when designing a handmade card an idea comes to you to try something? That’s exactly what happened when I used the same die with the new Embossing Mats to emboss the right side of my card. Just love it! The excitement grew when I continued the embossing on the die-cut fancy oval (also from the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies). Often the little touches like that are easy to do and step up your handmade cards. You can see how to use your Thinlits dies to emboss HERE.
Stampin’ Up! Blended Seasons Bundle is available only for a couple more days! Order it now in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com before this limited-edition stamp and die set are gone for good.
