Make Watercolor Cards with Stampin' Up! Wonderful Romance

The gorgeous vellum from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper makes for a very soft and pretty Stampin’ up! Wonderful Romance card. Make watercolor cards to also add to the softness.

The flowered vellum from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper is set against Petal Pink Cardstock. Isn’t it gorgeous? I tried it also with Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow, Fresh Fig, and Whisper White. Petal Pink was the most appealing for this card idea.

Yesterday one of my sweet stampers called to place an order, and the conversation turned to Watercolor Paper. There’s just nothing to compare to the look of watercoloring with it to make watercolor cards. See how the ink bleeds into lighter shades. It does it, not you.

The best tool for watercoloring I’ve ever used is an Aqua Painter. Unlike watercolor brushes, the water is controlled for you. It was virtually impossible for me to do that with watercolor brushes. Loved the look and kept struggling but what a godsend it was the day I used my first Aqua Painter.
