Father’s Day is Sunday. My handmade Father’s Day card for fishermen with the Stampin’ Up! Best Catch Stamp Set. It’s a masculine card idea for with a change of greeting could be used for birthdays, thinking of you, and thank you cards too.
The coordinating Catch of the Day Dies make this a must-have stamp set. The cattail die was the finishing touch with the brown cattail flowers. I colored the Old Olive Cardstock die-cut flowers with a Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends marker. Turned out great!
The Rectangle Stitched Dies were used to make what I hope resembled a picture frame for this handmade Father’s Day card for fishermen. The background for the framed art was stamped with the Crackle Paint Stamp Set. This is a great stamp set to add to your collection for an aged look and for masculine cards.
Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers in exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors) were also used to color the fisherman and the tackle box. You get the look of watercoloring with the ease of a marker. Once you try them, you’ll want them in every color.
