If you’re one of those so well organized that you’ve completed making your Christmas cards, you’ll especially find my Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow card to be refreshing with a look ahead to spring. It’s sure pretty in Purple Posy!
While it’s true the Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Pad has been discontinued, as you can see with my handmade card, you can still use Purple Posy to color with Stampin’ Blends or Stampin’ Write Markers.
My subtle Buffalo Check background was created using the Versamark Pad. The ink pad is more for than good embossing ink! Versamark provides a watermarked image of a shade or two darker than the cardstock on which it was stamped. A subtle image that enhances without taking attention from the pretty Purple Posy and Blackberry Bliss flowers.
Like the scalloped v-shape? There are two border dies with the coordinating Budding Blooms Dies. Both were placed on the Whisper White Thick Cardstock in my die-cutting machine. Using both at the same time allowed me to place them evenly. It’s a lovely feminine look.
