Boo! It’s a Stampin’ Up! Have a Hoot Card

If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you’ve come to know my idea for Halloween is adorable with fun scares. That’s what you get with the Stampin’ Up! Have a Hoot Stamp Set. Boo! It’s a cute handmade Halloween card!

The owl hiding behind the jack-o-lantern is irresistible! We should tell the owl not to look behind him and see the spider is making his way down the web. 🙂

This hoot owl was stamped onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock and colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends Markers. Have a Hoot Halloween card supply list is below. You also have the option to die-cut the image with the coordinating Peek-a-Hoot Dies. 

The spider is from another Halloween stamp in the Stampin’ Up! Have a Hoot Stamp Set. It didn’t need to be hand trimmed because it was die-cut with the one of the dies in the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. And, how about that spider web? It’s also from the coordinating Peek-a-Hoot Dies!

The jack-o-lantern with the owl hiding behind it was punched with the 2″ Circle Punch. One reason to die-cut it would be to set it against a darker cooler. I wanted to stamp “Boo!”, also included in the stamp set, above the pumpkin for my clean and simple Halloween card idea. The circle with the cute Halloween stamp is partially resting on the dotted pattern from the Regals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.
