What in the world would you sip on a handmade greeting card? Nothing. SIP does sound odd until you learn it is an acronym for Stamps, Ink, Paper. Simply a card made with just stamps, ink, and paper. No embellishments (I know, perish the thought!). Yet my Stampin’ Up! So Much card is elegant in its simplicity.

The fair flower was stamped three times across the bottom, starting with the flower in the center. Followed by trimming along the edge with my Paper Snips creating a beautiful floral border.

Only after the edge was trimmed did I start to color my Stampin’ Up! So Much Love card with Stampin’ Blends, SU! alcohol markers in their exclusive color line. Can you imagine having the flowers colored and then mess up trimming? Yikes!

The three colors I use are Rococo Rose (retiring), Just Jade, and Daffodil Delight. Rococo Rose and Just Jade are stunning together.

The Basic White Cardstock with the floral border was given a lift with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’ve said in several videos it’s my favorite accessory. It’s an adhesive that can have such a dramatic effect on your handmade greeting cards it seems like it’s an accessory. 🙂 The shadow cast underneath the border is so much more attractive than if laying flat on the Rococo Rose Cardstock card base.
