October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Having a yearly mammogram is key to early detection and an optimal outcome. This fact came raging back for two local friends of mine this past week. Both, as I was nearly two years ago, are in shock to have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet, we probably shouldn’t be because it strikes one out of eight women. We hope and expect not to be one of them. Unfortunately, just hoping isn’t a sound plan.  Thank goodness for their yearly mammograms because both were caught early. The heart surrounded by flowers is perfect for pink, the official color of Breast Cancer Awareness. Stampin’ Up! had heart health in mind for this set.
