Today, I used the same big and beautiful Peace on Earth stamp for a handmade Christmas card idea with more color. The soft pink and green in the Whimsy & Wonder 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper is sure pretty with the soft pink surrounding the greeting and dove.

The white embossing resisted the Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad ink that was applied with a Blending Brush.

The dove was stamped on a piece of paper and hand-trimmed to cover the embossed dove while the Petal Pink ink was rubbed over the larger Peace on Earth greeting. Dotto Repositionable Adhesive held it in place and then removed. That is the technique called masking. It prevented the ink from filling in the outlined dove.
