The intricate dies of the Sea Life Dies turned a clean and simple fish card idea into a handmade 3D card with the coordinating Stampin’ Up! Seascape Stamp Set.
The tail and fins are cut in such a manner that they can be lifted up for a cool 3D effect. As a matter of fact, all the dies in the set are intricate. They provide intricate and interesting detail for the rubberstamped images and finished project.
Die-cut the fish then stamp the seaweed. I wasn’t using my head when I stamped first. 🙂 That’s the beautiful thing, it’s just cardstock. Throw out the mistakes, remember the lessons you learn, and try again. I remember a time when I didn’t create anything due to the fear of wasting cardstock. Everything changed when I told myself it was just cardstock. There still isn’t a desire to be wasteful but we need to try if we’re ever going to be successful.
The seaweed, bubbles, sand, and greeting are just four of the nine stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Seascape Stamp Set. They mix well with the detail of the die-cut fish.
The seahorse die-cuts the same way. How fun!
