I’ve finally emerged from the piles of tax work to share two pretty cards my downline made. I challenged them to make a card with the Stampin’ Up! Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks. Two of them very sweetly sent their cards to me! Happy mail. 🙂
You can see with the flower card that the Butterflies & Flowers Masks (stencils) are not just for backgrounds anymore. Jane Shultz made this lovely card. It’s a beauty! Below I’ll show you how the layering works.
The second card was made by Melinda Horner. Isn’t that a lovely background?! The multicolor background for the die-cut “just want to say” awed me. The die is from the Floral Gallery Dies.
Melinda’s card also uses one of the retiring Square Vellum Doilies on sale for 20% off. It added a nice, soft touch.
Here are the two cards side by side. There are four (4) more decorative masks in the set! Check them out HERE.
The supplies for the cards are listed below. Now to show you how to layer the masks.
The first step is to fill in the most open pattern by using a Blending Brush to apply your choice of Classic Stampin’ Pad color.
The Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks are from the January-June 2021 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. They are not in the new annual catalog. It’s not official yet they are retiring but it’s almost certain they are.
We do know hundreds of products from the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Catalog are retiring with some discounted up to 50% off and are available only while supplies last! Click HERE to see what’s still available.
