Sitting on the beach and soaking up some sun while listening to the waves sounds idyllic today. You don’t have to close your eyes to imagine it because the scene and calm are set with this handmade beach card idea using the Stampin’ Up! On the Horizon Bundle.

The plan was to CASE the sample from the retiring January-June 2022 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. I pretty much did but needed to make a color adjustment because the sample used the now-retired Misty Moonlight Cardstock and ribbon. I still wanted to use the exceptional New Horizons 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Look at how well the patterned paper coordinates with the new 2022-2024 In Color Starry Sky!

A couple of items to note about my mostly CASEd card include the fence is Basic White Cardstock die-cut with the Horizons Dies and colored using Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad ink with a Water Painter. The sunset is Calypso Coral also applied with a Water Painter to coordinate with the New Horizons DSP.

The retiring list for the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog has not been released. However, the Stampin’ Up! On the Horizon Stamp Set and Horizon Dies did not carry over into the 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Catalog. It’s reasonable to expect they, along with the New Horizons Designer Series Paper and Pebble Shapes, to be retiring and will soon no longer be available.
