It’s only early September, yet I’m already seeing some trees with their leaves turning already. That must mean it’s time for a handmade fall card. Watch as I demonstrate my Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest card idea.

The ornate pumpkin created with the coordination Rustic Pumpkin Dies is sure pretty. It’s remarkable how the embossing on the pumpkin and stem steps it from the usual.
The warmth of the Very Vanilla Cardstock, along with the Cajun Craze and Pale Papaya, should have you ready for a pumpkin spice latte. 🙂
Do you typically try several color combinations before making your final decision too? Which of the color combinations I showed you at the end of my handmade fall card did you like best? You can go back and watch now if you missed them.

Hi Shelly, The color combination in your pretty finished Fall card is very nice and I like that one the best. The only other thing I think I would have liked to see would be the embellishments scattered on the Very Vanilla background rather than on the leaves. I think the leaves are pretty all by themselves and while the background is quite nice the little pop of color of the embellishments would draw your eye to the lovely embossed design a little more [I think you would probably need 5 rather than 3 scattered on the background for the best effect–what do you think about that idea?].
Thank you. You know, that’s funny about putting the embellishments on the Very Vanilla instead of the leaves. My go-to design would have been to scatter them as suggested, and this was my attempt to break out of that. 🙂 I agree five would be even better, three was chosen because I need to be mindful of how many of these I’ll need to make of these for my September thank you card.
I like the one with the pale papaya best, but I LOVE pale papaya!
Lisa
It is a pretty color. Thank you for commenting!
Shelly-I tried to make a copy of the instructions and the card. Why can’t we use the card picture? It’s not like you’re the only person doing this. Why can’t we have a visual aid to CASE your cards…are they top secret?
Sorry, I have no idea what you’re talking about. I published my card for the public to enjoy and CASE if desired. I’m not sure if you mean to come across as harsh as it seems. Perhaps a PM would be more appropriate.
What in the world are you talking g about? I was able to copy the photo above and the measurements, what more do you need? I think your comments were way off base and frankly a little rude.
