Last week I shared a handmade card idea with the Stampin’ Up! Paper Florist Dies that I just had to copy. This “Wow!” Stampin’ Up! Pansy Dies card sample from the new 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up! The catalog is one that I just had to make, too. It’s simply breathtaking! Kudos to the concept artist who designed and made it.
The first thing to do was to die-cut the pieces to build the pansies.
The Fresh Freesia die-cut is interesting (the piece with just one die). You’ll use the negative image and discard the piece that popped out. A quick snip with Paper Snips gives you the lightest purple layer when you build your pansies.
Here’s a picture of die-cut pieces you’ll need to build your pansies for a gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Pansy Dies card.
The “Happy Birthday” greeting is from the coordinating Pansy Patch Stamp Set. Included in the set are dies to cut out most of the stamp images from the stamp set.
The white embossed greeting was die-cut with the new Nested Essential Dies.
The attractive lattice-like background was created using one of the Foursquare Decorative Masks. I used a Blending Brush to add Lemon Lolly Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. Small Blending Brushes were used to add color to the Fresh Freesia and Parakeet Party Pieces. The Waffle Flower Mat I purchased on Amazon keeps your cardstock and mask in place.

The pansy card is just as you said, “Stunning”! The pansies almost look real. I have had these dies for quite some time and have never gotten around to using them. Pansies are my favorite flower, and my mother grew them in her flower beds. I will be getting out my dies and making this card! It could also be adapted to any other flower.
Have fun making it!
