DIY cards made with scrapbook paper www.stampingsmiles.comOh, how we love our scrapbook paper! From beautifully elegant and bold designs to those that are just too cute for words, Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper is a fan favorite. It’s no wonder we end up with a stash! My quick-as-a-bunny DIY card is the perfect way to put it to good use.

We often use a small strip of scrapbook paper to accent our handmade greeting cards—and let’s be honest, to keep as much of it in our stash as possible. But many of Stampin’ Up!’s scrapbook papers are perfect as the main focal point and deserve to shine! My DIY card idea using the Unbounded Beauty 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper is a great example.

Add a greeting and a touch of ribbon (Summer Splash 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon), and you’ve got a lovely card that’s quick to make. Just imagine how many you could create in an hour while making a dent in your stash—before you inevitably pick up more. You know you will! And don’t worry, I’ll be right there with you doing the same. 🙂

My Happy Birthday greeting in the script font is from the Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love Stamp Set. The scalloped edge oval label just one of many more label dies from the Unbounded Love Dies. Did you know when you order the two together as a bundle, you’ll save 10% on both? The bundle is pictured below with the supplies to make my DIY scrapbook paper card.
