Welcome back! Today, I’m excited to share the third handmade fun fold birthday card created using the same card sketch featured in my recent live stream. If you’re looking for a fresh way to create a striking birthday card, this fun fold design is just the thing! I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Forest Stamp Set to bring this nature-inspired card to life.

What’s extra special about this design is that it’s the third card I’ve crafted using the same versatile card sketch—each one turning out totally unique! The Fragrant Forest stamped with Shaded Spruce Classic Stampin’ Pad onto Shaded Spruce Cardstock creates an appealing tone-on-tone background. This contrasts beautifully with the same trees stamped on the stark Basic White Cardstock, which was die-cut into a circle using the Deckled Circles Dies.

For the first two fun fold birthday card ideas, I used scrapbook paper for the large die-cut circles. Our Designer Series Paper (scrapbook paper) has more body than most and possibly any other. I added another circle behind it to strengthen the scrapbook paper. It served as another purpose too. It made the back look more attractive. I layered the evergreen stamped Basic White Cardstock circle with a Shaded Spruce Cardstock circle.

Looks better than white. Do you agree?

Each of the three fun fold cards had these in common:

1. the card bases are the same size
2. the die-cut circles are the same time
3. the circles contrast with the card bases
4. the greeting is on a 4-1/4″ x 1/4″ strip across the bottom
