The last of my Christmas cards using A Cardinal Christmas stamp set from my Christmas in July Fast & Fabulous class. I know, I could look at Christmas cards all year long too, but it is time to move on to other projects I have been doing. But, before I do, let me tell you about this card.

While I would have loved to have watercolored the beautiful cardinal, I needed to come up with a card that was as pretty enough to do justice to the cardinal but also be quick. You see the results. I was, and still am, pleased with it.
The 1/4 circle at the bottom of the card came from the need to give the card balance. I knew I wanted something more than to just stamp a greeting across the bottom. While I feel like this was an original inspiration on my part, but who knows? I could have seen something done similarly in the tons of card samples I have seen. Someone said there are only about 10 original designs. The rest are all just variations of them. I imagine that is quite true.
I got my perfectly round circle by using my Circle Scissor Plus. What a wonderful tool! So easy to use. Now that I have this handy dandy tool, I am a circle making maniac. Circles are showing up on my cards, scrapbook pages and 3D items. Love them circles.
Other than that, not much more than to tell you I stamped the green branch off twice before stamping on my 1/4 circle.
My colors are Real Red, Mellow Moss and Very Vanilla.
