I was thrilled when my adorable stamp set, Flight of the Butterfly, got a new friend – the Butterfly punch! If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know how much I love punches. Add to it a punch that makes a stamp set even easier to use, I am in 7th heaven.
How cute is the stamped and punched out butterfly? Typically, when I see samples of cards with cut-outs going off the top or side of the card, I know I do not wish to duplicate it because it will not fit into one of the envelopes. No fear here! My card is 3" x 6". The Small Open-End Whisper While Envelopes are 3-1/2" wide. Plenty of room for my off the card butterfly.
Nothing tricky to this cute but simple card. I did use my Stamp-a-ma-jig stamp positioner for perfect placement of the two-step stamp with the dots and butterfly body.

This is very similar to a card found in the July Stampin' Success. Stampin' Success magazines are exclusive to Stampin' Up! Demonstrators filled with samples, techniques and business tips. So, as you see, when you sign up to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, you do not need to come up with ideas all the time. I was happy to use the basic card in the Stampin' Success with just a couple of tweaks (change of color base and added the Butterfly punch).
Been thinking about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator?
