What a funny name for an adhesive. Thankfully, it isn't because it is made from snails. Is snail slime sticky? And, if so, is it acid and lignin free? I don't care to find out!
What I do know is how well the SNAIL Adhesive works for my card and scrapbooking needs. SNAIL is an acronym for Super, Neat, Affordable, Inline. SNAIL Adhesive is very affordable because a small amount of the 472 inches of this double-sided adhesive creates a permanent bond. Apply SNAIL directly to your project keeping your project and fingers sticky-free.
SNAIL Adhesive works best when adhering flat paper or card stock to flat paper or card stock. If you do not position your card stock exactly as you want it, you have a short amount of time to pick and up and reposition it. Once the SNAIL Adhesive dries, it will be next to impossible to take it apart without tearing the card stock or paper.
It just doesn't get any easier or quicker to achieve a great, permanent hold than with the SNAIL Adhesive to paper to paper.
When is it not the best choice of adhesive? Whenever you add an embellishment, such as brads or eyelets, or texture. Embellishments and texture do not allow the card stock to lay flat against the other piece of card stock. The SNAIL Adhesive does not hold well in those conditions.
When I add texture to my card stock, I use Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals or Sticky Strip to hold my layers together.
