When I added the magnifying glass to one of my Made with Punches! Punch Art Book Classes, I thought how adorable the Stampin' Up! Bugs & Kisses stamp set would coordinate with it for handmade cards or scrapbook pages. I was right!
I made this homemade card for a little friend. It was a lot of fun to make. For the grass, I randomly drew a line going up and down on Garden Green card stock and then cut along the lines with my Paper Snips. It took a couple of tries because I cut the solid part too short on the first one. No big deal, it was quick to make another one.
My sky was made with a template made from the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch. To view a video demonstration on how to sponge a sky like mine, watch my YouTube video.
The greeting, bugs & kisses!, stamp was colored with the Pacific Point, Garden Green and Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers. So much cutier than a solid stamped image on my handmade card.
To the rescue again were my Paper Snips to cut out the ant stamped image. The Paper Snips let you do that great detail cutting with such little effort. Read why I love the Stampin' Up! Paper Snips.
