The Wizard of Oz delivered Marsha and baby Patrick back to Kansas.   We continue our journey with Marsha with two more 12" x 12" scrapbook pages she created.

Are you old enough to remember when photos were printed at that size?  No problem getting four to a page!

I want to point out a couple of different elements to Marsha's scrapbook pages.  The first is the fun title.  Don't you like how she was able to use the "k" for back for Kansas also.  Pretty clever.

Now take a look at the background of her scrapbook page.  It starts out as a full 12" x 12" sheet of Whisper White Card Stock.  At first glance, I thought the Whisper White Card Stock had been torn and used as a layer.  Not the case.  It was a smarter move to use the thicker card stock instead of background paper for the base of her scrapbook pages.  She will be able to slip them into page protectors easily.  If she had used background paper for the base of her pages, it would have been a chore to slide it into a page protector, possibly even bending the page.

So, instead she tore her background paper and layered it on the Whisper White Card Stock.  I love the torn look, but particularly like the small edge of torn background paper on the opposite side.  Nice touch.

I'm starting to notice a trend with Marsha's two-page layouts.  While both pages coordinate beautifully, they are not carbon copies.  She likes to add another layer of background layer to her title not found on the opposite page.  I like it.  What do you think?

You have to appreciate that Marsha is journaling as she goes.   If you find it hard to come up with dates and perhaps even some names, it might encourage you to start making some quick notes right away on pictures you have printed from here on out.  I know, you think you'll remember.  Unless your Benjamin Button (haven't seen the movie yet), you are not getting any younger.  At least jot down the date.

Are you ready to start making scrapbook pages too?  Maybe your first pages or need to jump back in.   Would tons of scrapbook pages ideas give you just the inspiration you need?  If so, I have just the inspiration you are looking for with the
