Stampin' Up! Fresh Vintage Stamp Set 3" x 3" Card

So, let's take a closer look at my card and how all the free elements were used to create it. We'll start with the focal point, the postage stamp.

I stamped the postage stamp from the Fresh Vintage stamp set (free) with Calypso Coral Classic Ink on Very Vanilla Card Stock to coordinate with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (free). Wanting to layer it onto Calypso Coral Card Stock (free), I hand-cut the postage stamp with my Paper Snips straight along the border. Then I used the Postage Stamp Punch to have the half circle punched edge look of a postage stamp.

To give it a bit more interest, I layered the hand-cut Very Vanilla Card Stock piece to the punched postage stamp piece with Stampin' Dimensionals. That small touch of added dimension adds a special touch to your card making.

In the center of the flower, I added one of the brads from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon/Brad Pack (free). The brad is also Very Vanilla and Calypso Coral. I like how it blends in with the stamped flower. A nice, look that does not overpower the card for attention.

This was then again layered with Stampin' Dimensionals onto a piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (free). But, I was not yet ready to adhere that onto the Stripes Embossing Folder (free) embossed Calypso Coral Card Stock. I first tied the Calypso Coral Organdy Ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon/Brad Pack (free) around the entire embossed card stock tying it into a bow. Again, I liked the subtle touch of color on color.

Now the card was ready to be completely assembled.
