Stampin' Up! announced today the 2-Way Glue Pen will have a price increase effective immediately. The 2-Way Glue Pen is listed for $3.50 in the 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog. Due to an unexpected price increase from the supplier, the price of the 2-Way Glue Pen is now $4.50.
Any idea why you would want a 2-Way Glue Pen anyway? It is a pretty handy tool to have around when the need arises. There are three main uses I have found for it:
- The chisel tip is great for drawing lines or filling in an area you would like to add glitter. Easy to control just where you want the glitter for just the right amount.
- A great alternative to apply adhesive to pieces too small for the SNAIL Adhesive. End frustration!
- My favorite use is to create a temporary hold. To do so, draw a line and let air dry. You then can use it for masking. Quick trying to hold your masks in place; use the 2-Way Glue Pen to hold it in place temporarily so you can stamp.
Percentage wise, the increase is significant, approximately 28 percent. Money wise, it is only a dollar. Is it worth it? For any of the uses I list above, absolutely! You will find when you need it, you will be glad to have it in your stamping supplies.
