Need a sweet baby card? Godby With Us Stamper Kathy Ayers made this handstamped baby card with the oh-so-cute Stampin' Up! Button Buddies stamp set.
Looks to me she used Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist and Certainly Celery Classic Stampin' Pads for the baby rattles. You just can't go wrong using the Subtles for a baby card.
Behind the die-cut circle (most likely the 3" Circle Originals Die), Kathy added a die-cut doily made with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and Paper Doily Sizzlits Die. What a beautiful way to add a layer!
When using the Button Buddies stamp set to make a card, you feel compelled to add at least one button. On the center baby rattle, Kathy adhered a Certainly Celery button from the Subtles Designer Buttons. Absolutely love that she added some thread to the button. Simply do not care for naked buttons.
To dress her baby card up a bit more, Kathy embossed the Whisper White Card Stock layer with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder and Big Shot Die-Cut Machine. Are you not still amazed at how some texture can change the look of a handmade greeting card?
Button Buddies is one of those stamp sets that is great for many different occasions. Along with the baby rattle, it has a snowman, pumpkin, snail, flower, cherries, flower vase with flowers and a pig. All are designed to look great just stamped or with a button. Too cute!
