Godby With Us Stamper Beverly Gasior made this sweet My Matryoshka card for me. What a delight to open my mailbox and find such a treat.
First of all, roses are my favorite flowers. So she had me at rose. Come to think of it, Beverly and I first became acquainted when she called me to purchase some of the retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets I have listed. She mostly was after any stamp set with roses. Besides feeling I had known her my whole life, how could I not like someone who cares my love of roses?
After the roses, my eye went to the pretty blue decorative strip across the top of the card. What a nice touch. Beverly enjoys making cards from the Simply Scrappin' Kits. As enjoyable as stamping is, I must admit is fun to sometimes make a "peel 'n stick" cards, as another Godby With Us Stampers has called my Simply Scrappin' Kit Cards classes. In this case, she incorporated the two.
Aren't the nesting dolls pretty? I bet you are imagining opening the largest and finding another, then another, then another. Don't you think children would find them to be fascinating?
Naturally, I had to show you a close up of the rose.
The world is a rose; smell it and pass it to your friends.

A big, inky hug to Beverly for sending me a handmade greeting card I could then share with you. Is it any wonder I love my stamping business?
My Matryoshka was introduced in a Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog and is now retired. There are times stamp sets stay around for a long, long time, like Lovely as a Tree. But many others have a short life span of production. If you are looking for a stamp set that is now retired, have a look at my listing of retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets.
I list retired Stampin' Up! stamp sets for eight of us. This offers a large variety of styles to choose from. Also increased the chances you finding the stamp set you have been searching for.
Eventually I will be adding a lot more to the list. A stamping friend brought several fall stamp sets for me to list. And, I have all my personal stamp sets to list that just retired from the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. Have a look at the long list now and be sure to check back periodically to see what new additions there are.
