A couple of days ago I showed pictures of free product bundles I received from Stampin' Up! for various reasons.  For some reason, I felt compelled to use every product they sent me in my Title Bundle to make a hand-stamped greeting card.  The bundle included Betsy's Blossoms stamp set, Itty Bitty Banners stamp set, Betsy's Blooms wheel, Floral District Designer Series Paper, 2012-2014 In Color Stampin' Write Markers and 1/4" Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Let's have a look and see if you think I went overboard.

While it is not an easy & uncomplicated card I promise for my Stamping Smiles Virtual Stamp Club and also not quite a made-with-ease card design for my Hassle-Free Cards subscription service,  I am fond of it.

Let's have a look at some of the elements that were hand-cut with my ever trusty and much loved Paper Snips.

The bird was easy to trim with my Paper Snips.  It was not difficult to leave a little white border around him so he would stand out.  You could get away without leaving a border because there are not any areas left uncut, like on the branch and leaves stamped image.  Also, the bird was stamped twice so just the wing could be trimmed and added with a Stampin' Dimensional.  It is interesting how that just popping the wing up makes such a difference to the look of the card.

For the branch with leaves stamped images, I did feel the need to leave a white border. To keep the image intact as one piece, it would have looked odd if the branch and outside of the leaves were without the white border and the inside area of the leaves left with all the white space.  The little flowers were also hand-trimmed with the Paper Snips.

The one image that did not need to be hand-cut was the "thank you" banner.  The Itty Bitty Banners stamp set have the Bitty Banners Framelits made just for them!  (Little happy dance.)

Betsy's Blooms Wheel was rolled along the right edge of my greeting card in Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink onto the Rich Razzleberry Card Stock card base.  Tone on tone is a favorite background of mine.  It shows but is subtle.

Both patterns of the background paper on my card is from the Floral District Designer Series Paper.  Isn't it great how we can mix and match the patterns within a package of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.  Certainly takes out the guess work if the colors will coordinate.

Betsy's Blossoms is simply a fun stamp set to play with.
